I watched this with my parents who know nothing about the League universe. I’ve been playing League since 2010, so my opinion may be a little biased.
As for me
But my parents were pleasantly surprised. They said that at times it was a little obvious that this show was aimed more at a young adult audience. Some use of pop songs and the villain twirling his mustache is a little too much. But overall they enjoyed the first 3 episodes and would watch the rest at their own pace. I loved it!
Overall, this series is very well put together
It was everything I hoped it would be and more. Riot’s art department has always been at its best. And with Fortiche’s track record, I knew it had very little chance of making mistakes. Knowing Riot’s art department, it has a great story, well-written characters, and a world rich with lore to draw from. And showcases some of the best talent Riot has to offer.
